A word on what makes this tier genuinely rare: sevengill sharks are deepwater predators that rarely surface, which means the live-tracking satellite tags you might have seen on other species simply don't work here. Instead, we use acoustic telemetry — a method that requires patience, fieldwork, and a little luck. When our receivers detect your shark's unique signal, we retrieve the data and bring it directly to you before it's published anywhere else.
